In M11 we have our very own Independent Practice Pots. Inside our Practice Pots are reading books at our level that we use for independent reading. We can choose a book and practise using reading strategies by ourselves. We have to take responsibility for our own learning by remembering to take a book home each night and returning it to our practice pots the next day. We can take home more than one if we want to. Aren't they cool?
It's a good idea that practice pots have books in them because you can keep your books for reading tidy.
