ANZAC Day - Home Learning

  2. ANZAC Day is important because it is the day we remember the soldiers that have died in Gallipoli and in the other places where the ANZAC soldiers fought. People wear poppies because on Gallipoli there were lots of poppies.

  9. Anzac stands for Australia New Zealand army corps. It's important to the soldiers that they remember their friends who died in the war. They wear poppies on Anzac day which is 25 April.

  12. ANZAC day is when you celebrate the soldiers who v.s the turkish people so we can have freedom and do what ever we want.
    And also on ANZAC day people make ANZAC biscuits. Ingredients: butter,suger,rolled oats,golden syrup,coconut,baking soda,
    hot water. The flower that represents Gallipoli is a poppy. My great grandmothers brother got gassed in france in w.w.1 then
    he had to live on a hill because he could not breath his name is John Lennon. BY SEAN.
